Our Team

Each of our school locations are fully staffed with administrative personnel, teacher trainings, and general support staff. More information about the school-specific staff can be provided upon request. The following people are the core personnel for TEFL International and the facilitation and management of the courses.

		David Hopkins, Director of Academics David holds a Masters degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and Intercultural Management from the School for International Training. He has taught, developed, managed, and been a trainer in language programs in Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia for over three decades. His most recent position before becoming our Director of Academics was as the Course Director at the AUA Language Center in Bangkok.
		Bruce Veldhuisen, Founder Mr. Veldhuisen is the founder of TEFL International and has been Course Director of language schools and TESOL courses in Hong Kong and Thailand for the past eight years. He holds a Masters in Business Administration, a Bachelors of Science in International Relations and Economics, and a Trinity College London TESOL certificate. Bruce overseas all aspects of TEFL International courses and programs.
		Faith Bigelow Faith Bigelow is a Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) Program Consultant. A graduate of Salisbury State University in Maryland with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and a focus in Philosophy, Faith has always been fascinated by people and their cultures, and is a self-proclaimed “people-watcher”. Faith got her first taste of international travel and experience six years ago when she and her soccer team traveled to Malta for an International Soccer Tournament. Since being bitten by the “travel bug” she has visited Mexico, Rome and Venice, Italy as well as St. Martin in the Caribbean. In her free time, Faith enjoys reading, movies, music, making jewelry and other crafts. She continues to play soccer and is always on the lookout for another tournament overseas, so if you know of any, don’t hesitate to contact her!
