Intensive Italian language course + Internationally-recognized TESOL Certificate course

Our unique program includes 4 weeks of Italian Language training in Rome followed by an internationally recognized 4 week TESOL Certificate course in Florence for a total of 8 weeks. The combination of courses and locations is designed to expose you to the best that Italian culture has to offer while providing you with the tools necessary to become an active participant in Italian life and not just a tourist.

Why combine the two cities? Rome and Florence will give you tastes of two very different regions of Italy. The people, the cuisine, the history and even the local dialect all varies between each area, and experiencing both will give you a more complete image of Italian culture.

This program will include the following components:

You will attend Italian language training in a small group environment totaling 80 hours over 4 weeks. Extra private lessons can also be arranged onsite at an additional fee. This fully accredited course is provided by one of the top Italian Language training institutions in Italy and although many of those who enroll are from the US, participants are from a wealth of other countries around the world, thus providing you an even greater multi-cultural experience. All levels of Italian training are available and your language skills will be assessed prior to the start date of your program so you are placed in the level most applicable to your abilities. The opportunity to earn college credit from this course is also available. Extending the language component is possible throughout the year so please inquire with our staff to learn more.

Language Training in Rome:

You will live in a private room in an apartment with a landlord or landlady. Depending on the size of the apartment, you might live with other students in the program.

TESOL Course in Florence (following language training in Rome):

For use during the program in Italy, we provide you with a mobile phone which can be shipped to your house before you leave the country. Your program fee covers the phone rental, and you only pay for the minutes you use and can monitor your usage online. The plan also includes:
