This program is sponsored by the Thai Ministry of Education. Complete our course in Ban Phe and earn your TESOL certificate, followed by a month of volunteer teaching in a rural Thai school.

Upon completion of the 4 week intensive course, graduates will go on to teach in a rural Thai school for a period of one month. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to 'give something back', as these Thai schools normally cannot afford English teachers. In most instances, you will be 'THE' English teacher at the school, which can be one of the most interesting and rewarding experiences of your life.

Most positions are available in the Southern Rayong province, which is the area surrounding Ban Phe, where you will complete your TESOL training course. Positions may also be available in other regions of Thailand so be sure to inquire with our staff should you have any specific location requests.

Program Fee & Details

The total program fee, which includes the items below, is $1,690 USD.

• Teaching contract is 1 month and begins on the Monday following the conclusion of your TESOL training
• Accommodation is provided for you throughout the entire program at no cost

Remember that these rural towns are small and often isolated. You will most likely be the only native English speaker in the village and you will certainly be very appreciated by the school and the students who would not otherwise have the opportunity to be taught by a trained English teacher. Most of your students will be school age children, either primary or secondary and you may have some choice between these two options.

Though challenging at times, this program offers a truly once in a lifetime opportunity for full immersion in a foreign culture while providing extremely enriching personal experiences and invaluable practical teaching experience in a peaceful, rural Thai setting.
